2½ yd. X 45" wide medium weight linen or light to medium weight wool (choose a firmly woven fabric)
1 yd. X 45" wide light weight linen for linings
7 ¾" diameter buttons
10 5/8" diameter buttons
½ yd. cord, linen tape or leather thong for lacing
sewing thread
